Thanks for the pictures Steve, I love pictures. The rear slide is on the list of repairs when we get home and settled in. We have the rivet issues to deal with and also the little sliding blocks on the bottom must be worn or out of adjustment as the carpet is wadding up when its extended. Also the locking pins do not work this could be caused many things but the goal is to fix everything.

Raise your bed. Remove the lift ram and hold up bed--I use some 2X4s. Now unscrew the inspection panel toward the bottom of the bed. You now should be able to see what is grabbing the carpet.
