Fran had a minor stroke at home this morning in Deming. She is currently in Neuroscience ICU unit in El Paso, TX. Any prayers will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you all so much for your prayers & thoughts. Just got back to motel. Tonite's update: After Ct scan & 2 MRI's, there is no bleeding, but there is a substantial ischemic in left frontal lobe. She is having difficulty with speech and some weakness oh right side. Dr.s say still too early to know for sure extent of damage and recovery prospects. We are keeping up our faith & hope for full recovery. More info as I get it. Once again thankyou so much for the positive influence of your prayers & thoughts. Please be aware of the warning signs of stroke. If you see it give an aspirin & get to ER ASAP. Time is of the essence to start clot busters. Only about a 3 hr window of opportunity.

Fran update: Today's MRA looked good. The Drs. are upbeat about rehab/recovery. Signs are good so far! Looking like 2-3 more days in ICU then to in-patient rehab for 1-2 weeks. Thank you all so much for prayers & thoughts. Please know we will be forever at the ready to help out any and all of you in times of need.
