I was told queen size bed and island bed u can get to master bath with slides in, king size bed you cant
with my one slide in the bedroom and the cal king size bed we made for it, the bed is almost up against the opposite wall cabinets. but that was a choice we made for the bed to be longer.

and we have the mid bath while traveling

We have 2 slides and no issues at all with getting to everything open or closed and that's why we sold our 4 slide coach and bought this Newell 4 years ago and have been full time ever since. We spent a few years in 4 slide coaches and found that beyond added storage (that we don't need) the floor plan of a 2 slide is almost as much room and about the same amount of furnishings space. It saves us at least 15,000 lbs and no need to duck every time I access my tool bay or outside tv bay or Aqua Hot or batteries and since I maintain all this stuff myself my back is very happy and only a few scars remain from forehead smashes of a by gone era for me.lolol
BTW. we have a modified King . The width is 6" less than a standard King and the length is only less on the side radius at the end, but still have room to get around to back bath if needed, but have the second bath at midship too.
when mine was a lounge in the back, there was and is cabinets like they have in the 2 slide bedrooms. that takes the walking room out.

What I have noticed about the 4 slide coaches I have visited is that the extra space seems to be in the hallways. Otherwise, there does not seem to be anything on the slides that we do not have with 2 slides. Thus, and it seems to me, you take on extra weight, less curbside and awning space, more complications, and all for 2 feet of extra hallway. What am I missing?
Just the bragging rights in having 4 slides........
I'm sitting here looking at the motorhome next to me with 4 slides. His slides are less than 1' deep. I have just a few square feet less floor space than his. But everything is accessible when my slides are in.
I really like just 2 slides, often when staying for just a night or two we won't even open the slides. Especially if it is raining or really windy.
BTW our bed is an Olympic queen. Wider than a queen but shorter.

Looking at the information I have on coaches, I don't have a 2 slide and a 4 slide actual weights in the same year.

I do have a 2001 2 slide at 50,160 pounds, a 2002 2 slide at 50,800 and a 2004 2 slide at 50,580 pounds. I also have a 2006 4 slide at 53970 pounds and a 2007 actual weight of 54,100 pounds with full fuel, water and a driver.

Considering there are such differences from coach to coach, I was surprised that the weights of the 2 slide coaches (average 50,513) were so close and the weights of the 4 slide coaches were so close (average 54,035).

Based solely on those 5 coaches, it would appear that the 2 extra slides add about 3,500 pounds.
This is the coach that Jimmy (Ozarkguy) posted for me.

Its a 2006 build #760 with 4 slides. Can you tell me from the attached pictures if you could walk through this coach with slides in and get to the important major items?

I’ve included both sides of the coach with an interior shot... Here is the actual address Jimmy gave me; http://www.newellcoachsales.com/default....s=Year&d=D

Thanks guys,

Harry

Harry if you'll go back to the link n open up the floor plan. Which is the blueprint. You'll note that access to rear bath would be a squeeze along with some cabinet doors at the end of the bed.

The two documents are mostly available for every coach Newell has built... I feel it's a really good way to figure things out. Or maybe I just like looking at blueprints.
