Sunny and partly cloudy right now in Custer. Had light hail and some rain early this morning. Forecast more thunderstorms and winds this afternoon and tonight. Hope it clears up tomorrow morning for our drive.

Rain just started. I decided to dump and stow the hoses this afternoon and Cindy suggested to close the slides. Just got everything done as it started raining hard. Thanks Cindy. Just hope we don't have to drive in the rain. Oh well I'll just take my time.
Just drove through the southern edge of the heavy rain (according to National Weather Service Radar displayed on my Garmin DEZL 760 via Smartphone Link to my Android). High wind and heavy rain but no hail. We are now in Wall for the evening. Will be heading into Spearfish in the morning.
500 miles of wind so far. 500 to go. Hope it calms some. Just passed a Newell setting in a rest area N of Council Bluffs. Towing a white jeep. Anybody we know??
