Al bought my 1978 Newell a few years ago after I bought the 1993 Newell. He has had it all over the eastern US.!

Is the battery cover on an 1989 newell a newell product? or was it borrowed from Prevost or someone else, Bothe the passenger side and driver side are missing. Thanks.

Quad slide, bath and a half, Detroit Diesel Series 60, Allison 6 speed, 47' with center island bed and a tub/shower in rear bath. Wood floors thoughout except baths.

I'm thinking it ought to be in super shape though, for $75K.

Two days ago while at St Lucie Tire in Ft Pierce Fl, pricing out future servicing as well as 365 tires, I spotted a late model Newell in their lot. Being in So Florida, I don't see a lot of Newells so I went over to check it out. From a distance it looked like it was dirty and needed washing but upon close inspection, it was in terrible condition for a 2011 coach. Not only was it dirty but it also had numerous body/paint damage all around it including front and rear fiberglass, paint peeling from a number of places, the bay door for the generator showed bulging and cracking from the gen set hitting it hard, corrosion on the small strip of metal above the bay doors, scratches all over it and the wheels looked like they had never been cleaned or polished. I was shocked to see such a beautiful coach in such sad condition. Ours is 10 yrs older and looks 10 yrs newer. I then looked at the tag and noticed it had an advertisment for dieselRVrentals.com. That explained everything. I hope none of you actually own this coach and have it in their rental program, it looks like heck. It was a 2011 #1426

Options I have found so far
Central Vacuum System
3 Basement Air conditioners 
3 Propane Heaters
4 electric heaters
2 engine run heaters
Icemaker
Washer and Dryer
Had a Norcold Cooler, but the compressor was fried
The shower door and bathroom door are both two way doors that make the shower and bathroom connect and close off the rest of the coach. 
We pulled the table and chairs and put the couch in for more sleeping space. 
We are also looking to replace the back up camera soon.

I was seeing if anyone had pictures of a back up camera upgrade on a mid 80s-mid 90s model. I am looking for suggestions and how you modified the bracket and monitor.

How high should my coach ride down the road from the top of the tire to the fender please? 
I am at about 3 inches but it seems really low...

We have been in the Red Mountain RV park for a couple months and a Newell (no slide) came in day before yesterday.  We tried knocking on the door but they were not home.  May try again today.

Newell has just listed #1215, the first 2008 Newell built. This is a quad slide, front entry 45' with the C-15 engine and an Allison transmission. Salon and bedroom have hardwood flooring and the kitchen and bath and a half are granite tile. Exterior photos currently not available.
