New guy here again. Coach #454. I have an outback inverter in it. It usually shows some time of AC coach load on it when it’s plugged into shore power. My question is why??
Also I went to make coffee this morning and the volt gauge in the inverter went from 13.5 down to the lbco at 12.5 and started charging again.. if it’s on shore power why would it be acting this way??
I’ll include pics of the inverter readout and main gauge panel
I’ve tested the batteries (house and chassis) with the meter and the charger seems to be charging them and the readout at the inverter panel seems to be correct
Coach #375, chasing air pressure issues. The 6 pack selinoids are they rebuildable or do you need to replace them. The gauge on top shows 80 psi, but all others show 0.
Can anyone help me on diagnosing my problem.
Thanks,
Jeff
I own coach #375 and Newell says that my air pressure problem is related to a defective an unloader valve. However, they could not tell me which compressor my coach is equipped with. 1995 8V92TA. Can anyone help me with a make and model so I can order a rebuild kit.
Thanks,
Jeff
this morning my daughter called and said she saw a newell broke down on the side of the road about 10 minutes from our house on a busy bypass highway.
i was driving and nearby so i detoured and went to see if i could help. a very nice couple who had been full timing in it for 11 years and 26 years on the road. the front tire blew and ripped the wheelwell up, destroyed the rim and ripped the front entry door off.
they said he calmly took about 300 yards and was able to get off the road safely.
i gave them my contact info and stopped a second time to see if there was anything i could do and offered my help, and to come stay with us if they wanted to.
Was under the front of the coach the other day and noticed something that cleary making contact where it is not supposed to. In the attached photo I am under the front center of the coach facing back toward the curb side front wheel.
In storage the water in the toilet will evaporate leaving a deposit which has to be cleaned. I checked with Headhunter about avoiding that. There is a "Rim Feed Valve" behind the toilet (See Photo Attached) which you close and then flush the toilet. It will empty the bowl but will not refill it. Once the flush action is complete, open the valve, it is now ready for storage.
Headhunter made some sort of change around 2010-2011. This procedure works for the later models, not sure about the earlier version.
Does anyone happen to have a part # for the drive axle bolt and nut? I make the genius decision to run up a 6 mile 6% grade just east of Butte, MT, without enough fuel in the main, and the aux closed off. Starved the engine of fuel since it all ran to the back of the tank. We did get that resolved by priming the secondary fuel filter inlet, after a few tries.
After a very long night on the shoulder of I90, 1.2 miles from Homestake Westbound Park area, StateFarm finally got a heavy wrecker out to pull me up the hill to flat ground. He pulled the drive axle from the differential, and in so doing buggered up one of the bolts and nuts. Now I am leaking fluid and he has yet to source a replacement.
A) I don't think I should drive on this after reading differential fluid nightmares, so we are stuck.
B) I am assuming if I knock out this bolt to take it into an auto shop to match it, I'm going to be dumping a lot of oil in the interim.
So, does anyone have the part number off hand?
Thanks, ~ Marcus.
I can’t be the only person you have ever had to deal with this, but I’m having a hard time finding anything using the search function. What started out as a poor water pressure problem from BOTH pumps has quickly advanced to a complete wet bay rebuild! I’ll circle back around to the pressure problems in another post after I get the floor replaced.
Is there some kind of “approved fix”? At this point my plan is to cut out a new floor from 14 or 16 gauge, weld it back in, paint and the maybe add a hardy backer type material, red guard , and tile it up to look nice and custom. Any thoughts on this (aside from added weight?
Now that it's getting cold here in AZ it's time for us to start running the furnace. Zone B is working as it should but neither zone A or C is working.
Neither the heat exchanger fans or associated pumps for A and C is coming on. I've moved the relay from B to A to see if that would do anything but it did not.
I'm now going through the manual and trying to figure out the problem. In the manual it's telling me to check for a ground signal from the thermostat at pin 0, however it doesn't show me where pin 0 is.
Where would I find pin 0 and how do I check for a ground signal.
Thanks in advance
Tyler Phillips
Also, it's kinda strange that the one zone that is working doesn't have a wire going to it from the thermostat.
