When activating the start switch on the generator it immediately blows the 'start fuse', it's the 15 amp slow blow. Engine never even turns over.
It's a 12kw Kohler w/the 4 cy Perkins, if anyone has a wiring diagram - or has had a similar issue that will get me started the correct direction.

I guess Flying J/Pilot has redone their RV program. The old RV Preferred customer program has been or is being dropped. It has been replaced with a "swipe & save" card that is issued through the Good Sam Club. Has any one used the new card? Do we still have "pump start" so you don't have to go to the cashier prior to fueling?
For any of you with Cesana showers and that is most of you, they are out of business completely now, but the molds for all parts were purchased by Luxury Marketing who has previously sold parts in the USA for them. I bought a roller for my shower from Liberty Coach a month ago and unfortunately it was the last in stock for $49.90. I do want a spare as you never know and asked Newell today how much and Chuck said "I wasn't going to like it"... $190. each, but if you call Luxury Marketing direct they want $225 each....
When one cuts the pre-heat switch on, is there a way to check to be sure it is working?
The ammeter on my dash doesn't work properly. With the engine running it usually shows a discharge anywhere from 100-200 amps. The voltmeter is showing 13+ volts so I know the alternator is charging. I've even used my clamp-on ammeter and it is charging.
So I'm assuming the gauge is bad. It's a VDO 0-250 ammeter. Looks like it might be a type b which has an external shunt. No idea where the shunt is located, any ideas?
The gauge has 2 red wires and a brown and orange. I found a VDO document which shows this type but has a + and - wire with 2 sense wires. So not sure if this is the right one or not.
Suggestions?
As I get closer to getting a coach . I may already have a stacker trailer lined up.. Looking at different options for it.. I'm looking at something called a trailer toad.. Would keep all the weight of the trailer off the coach and would allow me to tow with my sequoia. But there is also something called idrive which actually brings the trailer to the tow vehicle.. While I would like to have both only one may be financially doable.. If I get the trailer toad I can actually move it to he stacker with an atv negating the need for the idrive... If any of you smart people would look at both and give me your opinion I would appreciate it.
Jim and Gail visited this last weekend.
sorry to see them go yesterday. as usual, their coach is pristeen and amazing, but more amazing was having them here.
i did a temporary 30a plug in front till i get my rv pad done in the back.
be sure to look at his pictures in his gallery on our forum

If y'all ever get bored on I-40 and you are near Amarillo, TX be sure to drop down a few miles and see the second largest canyon in the U.S.
Good campground (a TX state park) and the scenery is spectacular.
Hiking and biking trails and you can even rent horses. The canyon itself is about 800' deep and the spectacular views break up the monotony of the Texas panhandle. For more details and info:

First I will block up the coach.
When I pull off the air dryer cartridge to change it should I bleed all the air out of the system first? Should I bleed the air from the air fitting in the engine compartment?
Has anyone put together a list of coach numbers and the year break for those? It would be interesting to see what coach number tied to what years and any major advancements on any specific coach.. Ie.. First coach with slides or double slide or triple, quad, Steerable tag, valid slides.. Would be a very informative to all of us I think....
I know 422 was a no slide 96
507,512 were 99's
I've seen 671 as an 04 and 708 also, so 04 had at least 38 coaches sold.
