I spoke with Richard today and he instructed me on how to measure the solenoid with a volt meter to see if it is working. It's not. Or at least it's not getting juice to the small front terminal to activate it. But before I go chasing that down he noticed from a pic that I sent him that possibly the new solenoid is not installed correctly. He thinks I may possibly have a portion of one of the cables touching part of the solenoid and causing a short. So I will check that out first and it that is not the case he has instructed me on how to jump the small terminal to see if I can activate the solenoid. Failing this then I get to pursue the question of why the wife to this terminal is not charging up and activating the solenoid. Of course with Richards guidance.
