RE: Owner of somewhat defunct 1990 Newell Coach -

I ran into an issue driving my coach home after I bought it where the relief valve on the air dryer was sticking open, preventing my wore out compressor from building enough pressure. A simple check is to put your hand under the exhaust tube and check for air escaping. The roadside cure was tapping the bottom of the air dryer with a rather large crescent wrench, but when I got home I took it apart and cleaned it. A presence of oil is a good indication that your compressor is on its last legs.
Not sure if it’ll be the correct model, but I do have a rebuilt 8V92 compressor with about 600 miles on it that’s available.

So I know this is an old post. Is the owner still with us and any news on the outcome?
