I have read a few threads about the Hydraulic Cooling Fan being loose. How can I check for this on my Series 60 Engine please? I need to take her in for valve adjustment, jake adjustment and retorque of head bolts and want to know what to tell the mechanic to check.
Thanks in advance!

Yes but what do they check? Will a Detroit (Stewart Stephenson) shop know about this?
Can I just wiggle it and tell if it is loose?

Not sure how to check it but I'm sure a shop would know how
