re-glue slide ceiling mirrors.
#1

Hey kids, its how'd you do that time!! (not Howdy Doody time).

I have a 2009 quad slide, coach #1261, with sagging ceiling mirror plastic in some of the slides. I'd like to re-glue the mirrors but I worry that some types of glue may react with the mirror coating. Does anyone have any experience with this? Maybe I'm overthinking this but I thought I'd ask before just going with my go to 3M 10 neoprene contact adhesive. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

The reason they are sagging is the backing on these plastic mirrors has already degraded. Tried several products before I realized. I am now removing mine and replacing with a complimentary vinyl material they are using in the new models.

What is the complimentary vinyl material you are speaking of and where can I get it. I had a mirror fall off last week when I extended my living room slide.

Leather look a like material. Faux leather material. Look at pictures of new coaches.

I understand now. I misread the post, I thought by replacing you were repairing with an adhesive.
