Welcome . Many of us have older "classic" Newels . Ours was made in 1984. Can't wait to see pictures of your project.

There is one in Anchorage Alaska that looks very similar to this. I haven't stopped to chat with the owner yet but its on my list of things to do. The one here in Anchorage is a 1988, I'm assuming since it has a sign that says 88 in the window. Really cool to see these older coaches getting loved and restored.
