Grease fitting chart
#1

Is there a chart that shows where grease fitting or air tank drains any where to be had? Prevost puts grease fitting charts on the engine bay door…

All I could get from Newell for #490 is the original drawings. That's all they said they had. So I think you are going to be hunting and pecking to find all the grease fittings. Remember the disc brakes need a good looking into, they do not have grease fittings, they need to be disassembled and lubed regularly.

Thanks Jeff, been watching Bus Grease Monkey and now I’m paranoid about the brakes, lines, bags, etc. lol… I’m planning to get the bus off the ground this week and crawl under it to see if I can find all the tanks. I’ll add extension lines to them to purge them or maybe air lines with valves. Also going to be checking out the air bags - any advice on where to get them? I checked with Newell and they have them but pricey…

Using the search engine will provide a wealth of information on air bag sourcing, the non availability of the originals, potential replacements, alternate air bag fittings, and alternate air bag plumbing to by pass ping tanks. It is not a quick or easy answer topic, but one that has been covered in great detail .

I try to use the search but it just returns non-related stuff…
Like if I try ‘air and bag’ or ‘air & bag’ I get tons of stuff but not related…

I did a video walk-through of my suspension, air and oil leaks to send to Bus Grease Monkey …https://youtu.be/y3uEmmuK1TA?si=IEHWWzutxxVc3FTk

air AND bag

the AND must be capitalized to invoke the Boolean operator and include both words

Aha! I didn’t realize that after all these years… I just gave up using the search… Thanks for the tips! I tried searching for ‘search’ hoping to find tips on search but nothing came up lol
