I just recently purchased an Older Newell Coach. was wondering where you go to get parts for the older Kohler generators as no one seems to be able to tell me. and that includes Kohler or Yanmar?
my Coach is a 1987 and the interior is in really good shape , just the generator, plumbing have been neglected over the years.
just looking for some advice.

I have been able to source brushes , bearing and slip rings on ebay and ASAP (Parts for techs.com) as suggested by Gordon the Best Gen Man .Parts for the Perkins engine are available from various sources , Trans Atlantic Diesels in Va. for one.

Are you looking for the engine parts or for the generator head?
The engine should be a Yanmar, or other tractor engine. But yes Gordon Jones as Jon mentioned above should be able to supply parts or help you find some.

Is it a two or three wire solenoid.
If two wire, one of these would work I think.

Martin Diesel 419-782-9911. Good ppl. Gordon may direct you to them. I believe Newell still sources their generators from Martin.
