Tom,

After almost 3 years, Pam and I are able to be back on the road again.  I have spent the last month repairing and replacing items from front to back.  It's amazing how much stuff I have forgotten about all the different systems I once thought I was pretty familiar with. So after saying all that here is my question.  Is it possible to download the entire forum?  I was thinking how neat it would be if I could read up on everything while Pam is driving us around and when I'm relaxing in the evenings.  We are going to take a short 3 day trip to Arkansas this weekend to test and check everything out.  Our destinations are usually in the mountains and it's hit or miss if there is any wifi or cell service.  I just thought it would be great to have all this past knowledge that everyone has shared at your fingertips when needed or researching.  I totally understand if its not possible, not knowing how many TB's that would be needed, or if it's even something you would want to do, it was just a thought.

Thank You, for all you do in keeping this forum going, I have solved so many issues by just reading the information that you are storing and providing for everyone.

Jeff

Listen to Richard, Starlink. Easy to set up, works darn near everywhere from Arkansas to the Arctic Ocean.
Glad to hear y'all are able to start traveling again.

Starlink is the answer.  I was doing some off roading recently and with an 18VDC Ryobi battery, powered the Starlink Mini in a canyon with good service while the phone had no cellular signal.  It's on the $5/month plan which was enough for us to get email and make phone calls.  If we ever break down out there we won't be completely stranded.

Thank you Richard, and for all the replies. I had not even thought about Starlink.

It is a game changer for us traveling souls. I have mine hard mounted on the roof. Normal startlink works in motion so Jeff can surf while Pam drives.

Richard, Pam said you are 100% correct, she does the driving, while I am playing with everything in the coach, reading, watching TV, or taking naps! Thank you for the feedback, we are leaving tomorrow for a 3 day trip to do a shakedown before any big trips. I will look into the starlink when we get back.

thank you for the kind words. this is the best and friendliest coach forum i believe.

i have 3 starlinks. one for my home in the country, one for my cabin in the mountains and one we use in the coach. we used it all the way to the artic ocean this past summer in the northwest territories. worked just laying on the dash....ha

Thank you everyone
It is something that we will need to think about and do some more research on.
Short weekend out but it was all good. Jeff has a list of more things to do, but all was good!

Thanks again
