Hello all,
I've been lurking for some time, and I just registered so that I could respond to the for sale posts.
I'd like to own a late '80s or early '90s tandem w/8v92
Wish me luck.

Small world, I picked up my '88 in Conroe Tx about 2 years ago.
Enjoy the search & do your homework as best you can . . . .
I do believe that they are all unique - no 2 alike.
'88 was the last mui , '89 was the first DDEC
We are so looking forward to any excuse to put it on the road !

Thanks for all the replys and encouragement.
Was originally just looking at Wanderlodges, but found the Newells quite comparable to my wants in many ways.
Now I think I favor the Newells, but the Wanderlodge is still on my radar. I never really liked the Prevost for some reason, can't explain why.
I love the classics, and lust for an 8V92. The DDEC kind of puts me off, but the MUI DDs really limit the available years. (86 & 87 on the Bluebirds, and 84 thru 86/87 for the Newells)
Trying to learn all I can about these coaches, and this site has been fantastic!

the ddec on the 8v92 has some real advantages. i dont know hardly anyone who has had problem with the ddec itself. and you can run the vmspc to monitor all your engine parameters rather than the highly inaccurate dash gauges
