For several years I have had a small fluid leak where one of the HWH solenoids connects to the HWH fluid block.  I recently cleaned the area and placed an pad under the system.  There seemed to be no leaks when the slides were retracted, but this solenoid leaked when the slides were extended.  I am not familiar with how these solenoids are attached and if it can be tightened to stop the leak.  I will appreciate any suggestions.

Possibly an o-ring where it attaches to the block.

Chester, you might need a tool from HWH to make removal of the valve easier. http://www.hwhcorp.com/ml11428-75.pdf

Before you touch any of the HWH solenoid valves, it is good practice to relieve the pressure on the air seals in case the slideout moves a bit. That way you won't roll the seal, causing much weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

You use the adjustment nut or T on top of the valve to relieve the pressure before unscrewing the valve from the manifold.

Just a friendly reminder....be very careful working around hydraulics....  A high pressure leak can potentially create a very serious injury.

Thanks Bill for the reminder. Having spent a career in mining, I have seen what 10,000 psi can do to a body. I may just put up with the leak until I can to a HWH specialist.

btw, the new rap90729 hydraulic solenoids for the slides now have a lever to release, not a T or a small nut
