Our rear AC is giving me problems , seriously considering replacing the unit . 
I believe the AC is the original Duo Therm 13,500 btu unit , according to the installation and operating instructions it's a Model 6000015-01 or 6000115-01 . The Dometic Brisk II looks to be a good replacement , but I am wondering if anyone here has actually installed one on their Classic ? 
I realize there will likely be a difference in interfacing the duct going to the bath , but I don't see that as a deal breaker .

there is no issue putting any rooftop air in its place. only thing will be the ducting to the bath like you said.

that said, i would go to the 15kbtu model if it was me. i live where it is hot. the more cooling the better.
