Headhunter water pump loud noise
#1

Hi all,

Our headhunter water pump has gotten louder and louder, please see the attached vid (looks like it won’t let me attach a vid). I’m currently filling the water tank. It also seems to run a lot and make a noise to the left of the galley, so much so, that sometimes we just turn it off to stop the noise. Wondering if it needs to be replaced. Any advice is welcomed here! Thanks

Not sure if this is your problem but I have been getting an intermittent issue with my pump cycling regularly. Seemed like an air bubble and it was after i would fill the tank. I then realized the way I was filling was were the pump was inline and i think I was introducing air into the pump. The only way I was able to get it to stop is to turn off the pump, drain off the pressure by operning a faucet, then open the fill port on the top of the pump and let the water run out for a bit. Then turn the pump back on and open up a faucet full open and let it run for a bit. This seems to get the air out of the system. Hopefully this is your issue and its just air in the pump.
