It looks like the “cleats” that hold the door shut have little to no grade on them. After releveling, this seems to be the only thing, but I wanted to ask before applying grease and making it worse.
Also, what lube should be used for this?
"Routine" maintenance on the BODE door is often overlooked. They have a VERY aggressive schedule that involves even WEEKLY checks and lube!
That said, at the minimum, I constantly keep the seal and latches clean. I then treat then FRAME AND DOOR seals with CRC FOOD-GRADE SILICONE SPRAY; this is good for everything on the coach, btw, and Newell pretty much uses it for cocktails...LOL.
After that, if you have sticking/banging, it's from 2 reasons:
1. your latches have slipped out of adjustment.
2. your air pressure is low and the door isn't lifting off of the latches before opening.
For 1, it's a matter of adjusting if you know how (it's a bit of a science).
For 2, that could be a lot more involved and could, in fact, end up being an issue with MAC valve as those have needed rebuild/replacement in similar era coaches.
Give some more info and others will chime in.
