The molding on this entry door is damaged and needs repair. See photos. Any ideas for repair and ways to prevent this from happening again in the future. This is a 1998 swing door. 
I am considering buying this coach and am researching what it will take to get it back up to par.

First, the stop bumper is not factory, not effective, and caused the damage through sheer leverage. Remove the trim from the door, use body work tools, and hammer back into shape. Its aluminum so dont overwork it.
