Guys my return air for my basement a/c units is under the entry steps. I need to replace filters. What is the best source for this filter material?

PMCBR,
If you add your name to your signature...it might be a little easier to communicate.

Are you sure you have to replace? I wash mine in warm water and let air dry. They lasted for several years before needing to be replaced. Newell just cut up some of the mesh stuff and replaced mine last year. Sorry, I don't know of another source.
Cheers,
bill

You definitely want something stiff, not light foam, since the suction is pretty good.
Try an a/c repair shop they might have something similar.

since i have had to retrieve filters from the plenum, i buy them anywhere and use a couple of pieces of stainless rod that i cut to push through the mesh to hold them so they wont come loose.
