IF the listed VIN is correct, it is #270 and it is a 1991 (M in the tenth digit of the VIN). Based on the VIN it is 41' 3" not 42 '3" or 43'. There several other discrepancies in the listing. It has an 8V92TA rather than an 8V922TA.

Now what really confuses things it the listing at http://buynewellrv.com/ for the same coach.
The attachments for that listing show the floorplan for #270, an invoice for work done at Panterra in 2007 for VIN 270 BUT the kicker is an invoice from Newell in 2013 for coach #271 to the same owner as the Panterra invoice. #271 is a 40' 0" with of course a different VIN.
That makes NO sense at all. I don't see how either Panterra or Newell could have confused the VIN, especially since both VIN numbers are correct, just for different coaches.

After looking at the floorplan for #270 and the photos for the coach, I would lean toward the pictured coach being #271 based on two things:
1) the floorplan shows a different bathroom layout than the photo shows. The photo show a more compressed bath which would be consistent with a shorter length coach
2) the floorplan is noted that #270 is a rivetless body and the photos show rivets
If, in fact, this is #271, it is 40' 0" long.
HOWEVER, a VIN check shows that in 2011, 271 was registered in Viola, AR and 270 was registered in Chicago, IL which is the location of the coach currently and the address listed on both the 2007 and the 2009 repair documents.
If anyone is interested in this coach, some additional research is in order!!!!

Won't be me, after much research last two weeks I've decided there will not be a two-stroke in my future... I worry about the minutia too much! So I have to save my pennies and make the leap to the series 60...

I seem to remember seeing this coach with services invoices for sale somewhere last year or earlier this year. Just can't remember where.

Clint, http://buynewellrv.com/ has two service invoices and a floorplan. The floorplan is for #270, the Panterra invoice is for #270 and the Newell invoice is for #271 with the same owner listed on both the Panterra and the Newell invoice. That is part of the confusion.

I owner has responded that this coach is #270 which makes the most sense as 270 is registered in Illinois.
