I ordered a rebuilt compressor from the place in Wisconsin that was recommended on the board. Pulled the old one put the new one in.. Hardest part was reattaching the new one to the base in the compartment. I suggest anyone doing it purchase new bolts and nuts . The old ones were rather difficult to try to reinstall.

Can you post a pic of how Newell is mounting them in your coach. The only mount I have personally seen is beside the generator in the front. And it simply is glued to some foam.
I am trying to quiet the vibration from the compressor. The low freq vibration wakes me up at night when it comes on.

Richard I did away with the foam mounting and used these from Mcmaster:

Double check the sizes. I used the original plywood bottom and then these to mount the compressor. It took out quite a bit of the vibration.

mine is mounted in the generator blower compartment and when i installed it i used the really flexy things kinda like forest did. works well

Yes I'll take a pic later today. Mine is located in the very front compartment right under the driver. There is a riser that has about maybe 2 inches Under it. that riser is attached to the floor of the compartment the pump is the attached to a metal plate with screws. that plate which has rubber grommets at 4 points where the bolts then attach that plate to the riser.

In addition to trying to figure out how to reduce the vibration, I am dealing with on ongoing issue on how to dump the pressure from the pump when it ends it's cycle, so that the pump starts against zero pressure.
I first tried a 120AC solenoid activated three way valve, but the valve eventually leaked. Then I added a check valve downstream of the three way but the valve is piloted (requires) pressure on the activated port. Meaning the three way won't close with a check valve downstream. I have ordered a Genie unloader which is a mechanical valve intended for this purpose. I'll let you know how it works out. Gordon first made me aware the pumps did not have unloaders. I have seen that without the unloader that sometimes the pump will stall or refuse to start. That is not good for the longevity.

richard, mine unloads before it starts. actually, it unloads when it turns off.

I have the Jun-Air compressor installed beside the generator. While it is not the same as the Thomas, one should be able to use the same technique to isolate the vibration and sound. It has four solid rubber mounts, but bolts do not go through the rubber, thus the compressor will flex an inch or two at the top. Attached is a photo.
