#476 listed for sale for $159,900 in Mesa, AZ. Claims 48,434 miles but Newell had it for sale on 12/8/2001 as having 53,000 miles. Also listed as having a 12.5 KW Power Tech generator and Newell listed it in 2001 as having a 20 KW Kohler. Unusual feature, it has been fitted with high mount chrome mirrors.

Or buy mine for less money and get a Girard awning!
Spent the last 2 days emptying it out and will park it at MOT today.

Appears they have lowered the price to $129,900. Wonder if those mirrors are original? Low miles is nice...

No, I am positive that the high mounted mirrors were added to #467 later. #751, a 2005 model 2000i series, has the high mount mirrors but I am not certain that it was originally equipped with them. If it was, it was the only 2000i series I am aware of with high mounted mirrors. #785, the next to the last 2006 model P2000i, may be the first Newell built with the high mount mirrors. By #797, a 2007 model, they started to become fairly common.

Jimmy, I don't pay too much attention to miles on the odometer. My coach has 59,000 on it but when I connected silver leaf to it I have 138,000. When I bought the coach I was told that it had about 130,000 and the speedometer had been changed out at some time. This is my second coach where this has happened. My hour meter has also been changed out. If the hour meter has not been changed out I figure about 45 miles per hour.

This is the first SCS basement air I have seen where the outside or bay door opening was closed off. I can see where mine was probably configured that way in the beginning, but the plate was removed at some time.

In looking back at my photos, it appears that in 1996 and 1997, most of the Newells originally had the basement doors covering the AC units closed off. Starting in mid-1998 (around coach #480) most of them seem to have had ventilation grills in the bay doors.
