Superb work Ernie.
Did you have to add a 3/8" subfloor to come up to the level of the granite floor in the kitchen and bedroom ?
Nailed down or glued ?
Very nice indeed.

I used a product called carpet shims to ramp up to the kitchen tile. All my installations are adhered with urethane adhesive.

My wife just today saw the finished floor with slides expanded. She loved it! Great job Ernie, thanks Mike.

Based on this conversation we have decided to go Acacia in our home in Madison, AL!  I love this wood!  We will get it from Lumber Liquidators and it looks to be pretty decent quality.

Acacia is a great product. I have 1500 feet of it in our home.
