Currently it is not running. We have traced it down to not getting any diesel to the engine, a cat 3208. It did start on ether though. Will probably try and put an electric pump inline right before the fuel rails to try and get it primed correctly. ( Can't find any hand primer... )
Exhaust tips are not entirely necessary... right?

A great project ! Our 84 has the same Zip Dee awnings in the same pattern, still perfect.
Cat motor. 3208s had hp from 210 to 435 hp acording to Cat, depending on application. Does this mean he has dodged the arch nemesis of all of us Detroit Diesel 2 cycle guys? (Overheating)

Love it. You are in the right place for any help we can provide. And you are the right place for people who will appreciate the effort and results you put in to it.
You might think about using a garden sprayer. Fill it with diesel, and use a barb fitting to connect the hose to the fuel inlet hose. Of course you pump it up for pressure. That would at least get the engine primed.

Thanks for the replies and encouragement! I'll will post more when I get to work on it again. It is currently and hour and a half away, so don't always have a chance that often to get up there and work on it. The plan is to move it down here after we get it started and then things should go much quicker!
Never got the engine started but that once on ether, so had a mobile truck place come out this week, and still no luck. So it just got a tow to a truck shop. Thought it could use a bit of TLC, so pulled out the pressure washer.
Had just a little bit of pacific northwest on it, but seemed to come off very nicely.
Didn't have good access for getting to the roof, so that will have to wait till it gets here. Brakes seemed to work just fine once we aired the system up.
Spent 30+ mins trying to remove the driveline with no luck. All our wrenches were too large to fit the nuts without hitting the driveline u-joint. So I opted to tow it in N... hopefully still have a transmission after this. He didn't get much above 35mph the whole way.
