Victron Cerbo GX
#1

For all of the Victron system owners.....cut and pasted from another forum:

"The operating system for Victron Cerbo GX and the Ekrano GX is called Venus OS and it has been in the wild for nearly a decade and has constantly received upgrades and tweaks. It has just received a major overhaul and upgrade and version 3.60 was deployed today. Here is a blogpost that describes the major improvements: Venus OS 3.60. This update is not just tweaking, it adds a significant number of new, and long waited for, features".

I have the VE MultiPlus-II 2X 120V, 3000VA 12-Volt I have not added a GX yet. I'm thinking I don't want an interior panel/screen. Bluetooth to my phone or tablet is mote my style.

If I go that route will I have all the options to adjust setting of the MultiPlus-II 2X 120V, 3000VA 12-Volt. Like charge amps?

Yes, the GX will add the ability to make most changes from where ever you mount the display. There is some deeper programming that can’t (or maybe now couldn’t) be done from the remote, but the day to day changes can all be done.

I have 2 Quattros with a Cerbo and a Touch 50. They work quite well. While the new OS sounds good, I am not sure I’ll use any of the new features.
