Coach 435 first run in over a decade.
#11

For those wondering. They havent had a chance to look at it yet. That said i have pulled the power plug and verified power goes in but doesn't come back out. A new DDEC3 has been ordered from Calgary and should arrive to me Tuesday morning. At that point the shop I'm at will need to program it then install it. Shouldn't take long once it arrives.
Till then I'm stopping up water from a leaking toilet and fixing that. Might even install a new 4 burner range in the counter. I can't stand this tiny 2 burner.

UPDATE
Ran out of water Tuesday night. Lucky for me they got the DDEC this morning and got it installed. DDEC III out and DDECIV is now installed. Coolant temp sensor was set super low so as to not have to worry about overheating when reading the 3 sensor wrong. Haven't seen temps get over 205. Left Fort St John BC about 530 pm and made it about 45 minutes south of Grand Prairie Alberta. Zero issues and even gained about .25 MPG.

So far so good. Going to push a super long drive day tomorrow Thursday and cross into Montana.

Glad you got things worked out and on the road, your doing a long drive today! Does the wife drive also? I never trusted my dash gauges the guy who installed them in my coach and said they had high failure rate when new so I put in silverleaf which is going to a windows based tablet and I got all sort of information and it didn't agree with the dash. We put bluefire in the prevost as silverleaf is no longer in business pretty much the same thing. Be safe and keep us posted on your journey please.

Everything seems to be running great. Air dryer could be replace. but it's hanging in there for now. Pushed hard for close to 650 miles today and crossed the border into Shelby Montana for the night. Trying to make up for a touch of lost time. Could push that far each day and make my destination by Tuesday but I'll probably should back and try to get there Friday afternoon for the weekend.
Could be the new DDEC IV or it could be the mostly flat ground we covered today but I'm getting really close to 7MPG now. 6.95 is pretty impressive from what I guessed it would be.

We are not towing the truck. My wife is driving it.
Made it to Dickinson North Dakota yesterday. Today I will need to either rebuild the air dryer or replace it. Its stuck in a constant purge cycle. If I can source the purge valve kit in town I'll rebuild it. If not I'll just slap a new one on it.
