Well I think this was my problem. The wire came off of the terminal on the compressor I have some new flag terminals ordered. The other compressor looks like it could use a new terminal too

Ohms all read zero on the thermal overload and between all terminals on the compressor so they all have continuity.

I ordered these for both compressors, as well as the dielectric grease Jack suggested.

Seems like there is a post which is part of the tab sticking up on each of the 3 terminals on the compressor.  I hope there is enough room for that and the male connector and room to put the lid on the whole thing without bending the wires too bad.

I ordered some regular flag type non insulated connectors which is what is on there just in case.  

Now I wait on the UPS man...  I hate waiting.

Good find! This has been a problem for some time. 

You can drill a hole use a terminal and use a brass screw and nut. I would wire wheel them to see the brass shine first then put some of this on them.

I use this on all my electrical connections most certainly on battery connections.

Oh boy, dielectric grease, you’re going to get questions about that! Haha 
Have at least 3-4 flavors of de-ox around at all times. Not to mention Mobil 28 grease for certain things. One thing is guaranteed with de-ox is that it will be all over you by the time you are done.

Jeff we lived in the Florida Keys for years and boating all over the place I found a good coat of grease of any kind on electrical connections has helped with corrosion so I continue to use it just habit I guess, I also use detox for electronic board connections.

Yea, well being in the electrical field I have all kinds of the stuff. We are an industrial and heavy commercial contractor so we get into all kinds of different systems. 
Not seen a de-ox for electronics, but then again I really do not do a whole lot on that level. Most of my electronics stuff I have messed with was coach related and I really do not know that much about it.

Fixed the bad compressor wire today as well as the other one looked like it was about to go too.  

Tried the lugs thay Jeff suggested but there wasn’t enough room to get the cap on so I used the flag connectors 

Gonna test tomorrow

I wish now that I had just bought two new boards from Newell rather than switching it all to 24-volt… someday I will have working SCS basement airs again (or the coach gets sold)…
