Maybe I am pensive, maybe I am frustrated, maybe I just want to express appreciation.
The only truly active group for the Prevost crowd is on FB. Yeah I know that is not a great platform for problem solving because of lack of chronological posts, poor search functions, and other clutter.
But dang I miss the interaction on this forum. I have asked a few straightforward questions over there, and I get more gibberish that I can plow through.
Thanks guys and gal for your continued respect for one another. Thanks for thoughtful, accurate, and technically astute replies. Thanks for your camaraderie. Thank you to Tom for your unwavering drive to set the standard here. Thanks Scott for keeping us up and running despite a FULL time job, and a young family, and a bit of duty away from our shores.
I am still happy with the dark side coach, but I sure do miss this crowd.

I feel your pain. I followed the Prevost group for a year or so. They don't seem to have a group as responsive. Great machine and the group of folks repairing them, just not the same.
Your next mission should you decide to accept it is to go yonder and establish a Prevost Guru site. This message will self destruct in 60 seconds.

i continue to be amazed at how all of you are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. i just looked at the my phone contacts and i had well over 120 newellguru member numbers in there and hundreds in my email contacts. i know i could go to virtually any state and look up a guru friend. on our summer trip we visited and stayed with dear friends from here all over the east and southeast.
i talk to, email or text someone from here every day. often more than 1.
thank you.
btw, the motto, friends helping friends was from my wife darlene. and it could not be any more accurate. we help each other more than any other group i have every been part of. i know that if something was needed for me with my coach or even me personally, darlene could reach out and someone would come here to help.
thanks again for the kind words.
tom, darlene and scott. (by the way, scott is a lt colonel selectee in the air force) very proud of him.

As many of you know, we sold our coach two years ago. As a member of the Gurus, I received a tremendous amount of encouragement by reading past discussions and trying to zero in on an issue I might have been having. Lacking any strong mechanical skills, I nevertheless dove into solving many lesser issues. A special thanks to Tom and Darlene once again for the "home" help they gave me. As I continue to peruse this site on an almost daily basis, I continue to be reassured in the slogan "friends helping friends."

FB in general sucks I like it for marketplace and seeing what our tight group of friends here are doing I love the pictures of everyone's travels. Richard I have posted on Prevost Owner Group and Prevost XL Owners and found a few that are truly gearheads and many that are just jackasses with smart ass comments. I've helped a few but only in private.
Just like Tom I communicate daly with this group not only on the website but by the phone or text. We have made lifelong friends here and know if something were to go amist I can make a few phone calls and there would be crowd that would be helping. Matter of fact I'm leaving Monday to stay at a guru's house with another guru for a week just so we visit and argue about stuff.

You don't get that kind of camaraderie on fakebook.
