Let me add to what Tom said. The relay is to switch the speakers from the dash radio to the in house stereo. Some of them are powered by the antenna up lead on the dash radio, making it a 12V relay. Some are triggered by the switched 110 output on the house stereo, making it of course a 110 relay.
If you get a scratchy noise , or lose a channel or more of your speakers, that relay is the first thing to suspect.
