I agree with Larry. Newell was fond of using small separators like that one all around the coach. I replaced about five of them, three in the same location at the rear six pack before I took Larry's advice. When they fail now, I just take it out of the system. I have used several different brands from high end to Harbor Freight. On all of them the polycarbonate bowl eventually cracks.
And as Forest said, you may be able to disassemble and repair. I am laughing at that only because on two of the ones I replaced, I found a previous mechanic had slathered silicone in the crack area. Just saying that to tell you the copious silicone caulk is a temporary fix.
