Before you touch any of the HWH solenoid valves, it is good practice to relieve the pressure on the air seals in case the slideout moves a bit. That way you won't roll the seal, causing much weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.
You use the adjustment nut or T on top of the valve to relieve the pressure before unscrewing the valve from the manifold.
