Well, we have made some progress.   All of the old floor has been completely removed.  Hit the rails with a flap disc to clean everything up, then painted the whole thing.  We did lay new tin down under the advantech, the covered the whole floor with advantech.  

The open hole in the floor is going to be the shower.  We are a tall family so I am going to sink the shower down into the floor for a little more head room.
