My take would be if you're mechanically inclined, and it sounds like you are, it's possible to buy a S60 powered coach near 100k and so long as everything is working when you purchase it you can then plan on spending 5-10k/year on average as you need to replace tires, batteries, etc.  At least that has been my experience thus far.  Clearly if something catastrophic fails you can get dinged for big ticket items, but I don't think that is the norm.  What scares me is if someone says "I've got 100k to spend" and they think they spend 100k and then just need to pay for insurance and fuel as there are some that think of a coach that way and are sorely mistaken in short order.  My hunch is that is not your perspective.

Your hunch is correct! I have been lurking off and on for almost a year - can't tell you how many hours I have in desktop research - just ready to get my hands dirty  - thanks for the response!
