Folks way more wise than me chiming in but my two cents are that if a truck repair shop can't source these basic parts I would never let them tie into a slide seal. Any mechanic should be able to see the part numbers on the old parts and cross reference them to current part numbers. I had drive axle done last year and parts guy at the repair shop sourced all of it. Newell had parts in stock for one side and one of the online wholesalers had the other.
I too would not book a flight until repairs are done and coach is 100% ready to go.
