dave and tammy was here at my place for a few days and i spent some time helping them learn their new to them 03.
they had picked it up and when they got here dave commented that there was very little water pressure and what water there was was hot.
i looked in the water bay and the 120v pump was running and clearly had been running for hours. it was hot and so was all the plumbing around it. it had been plumbed in with 3/4 flex hose and that hose was collapsed. water was flowing but because the autowater fill valve was stuck open, it was just pumping the water out of the bottom of the tank to the top of the tank.
i took the valve apart but could not get it to work. the diafram was stiff with age. on my 02 i just took it out so dave had me do that. just cut it out and put 3/4" pex sharkbite caps on the lines it was connected to. we went to the local hardware store and got new hose and then everything worked great.
