Help identifying Air Valve
#6

Be aware when you replace that front height control valve. Newell uses a setup where the vertical arm is mounted to the sway bar. As the front end rises and falls the sway bar pivot. However the sway bar rotation is no where near the actual up and down movement of the front suspension. Therefore the arm is very short on the HCV to compensate for the lack of movement. It makes the adjustment of the valve VERY sensitive.

To complicate matters, the DANA IFS 84 suspension changes toe in of the front tires with a change in ride height.

Measure ride height carefully before you begin.

And always make sure you have adequate support for the coach before getting under there for any reason.
