Loose bar in windshield

Have you removed the screws and looked carefully at them? I sometimes find loose screws and the screw threads themselves have worn down due to vibration over the miles. Sometimes a new screw will bite. Sometimes I go up one screw size.

Can't see underneath without tearing up the entire lower dash where all of the air ducts connect.  It's like there is also a little metal box that shields that area as well that you can see the outline of.  I'll try the one screw up thing.  Creates a heck of a rattle at times, but also is providing almost zero structural support if something were to hit the windshield in the center like a turkey, etc.   I mention a turkey as my dad once had one end up in the cab of him semi.  Was almost a really bad situation.
