I've heard of some putting the dish on their dashboards and getting it to work like that. Also some have mounted it in the shower under the skylight.
I bought a mini for our 30' Monaco to use on our Alaska trip this summer. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet. Starlink is certainly a game changer.
