Jim from what I understand as long as your adapter puts out 18+ vdc and 100+ watts it should power the mini. IOW an adapter that can charge a laptop, usually with usb-c connectors should work. The Mini connector is a standard 5.5 mm barrel connector (don't have all the specs at hand but easily found) but the Starlink model is weatherproof.
One tip is to make sure the heating function is off.
