I managed to get the Victron Multiplus II connected and all is well - the inverter functionality works perfectly and the 110/220 side switches correctly (have not tried it with the genset yet but it is still using the Automatic Transfer Switch so it should be good). The only issue I am having is how to charge the engine batteries while the engine is not running. The MPII has a ‘trickle charger’ onboard and it can be connected to a relay to turn it on and off on a periodic basis. According to the techs at Signature Solar the only way to get the engine batteries on a ‘tender/trickle charger’ is to buy a separate charger - what are you guys using to charge the 8D AGM engine batteries? TIA!
