I have not been on that highway, I believe its dirt and rough, very rough. I would recommend a spare tire or 2 and a couple airbags just in case. Perhaps Canada maintains it better that Alaska does on the Dalton. I would imagine its very similar though, lots of muddy and wet areas that could be quite soft. As for the Dalton, those of us that have had the displeasure of driving it in the summer would much prefer it in the winter when its frozen. I personally hate the mud!
