Window fog
#28

We just worked with "Joe & his crew at Auto Glass Boss", we talked extensively before we drove 700 miles to Orlando and he never mentioned that the windows could be etched, "Etching on glass, causing a cloudy or hazy appearance, is primarily due to a chemical process where water, dissolves the surface of the glass, leaving microscopic scratches, making it hard to see through and rendering the window unit non-repairable" Alex (who doesn't speak a word of English) worked with another guy, they are great workers and knew Newells well, he should have stopped and alerted us after he found the first etched window. Taking the windows out, cleaning them and re-installing them was plan A, there was no plan B. Of the 7 windows he did, only 2 turned out good the other 5 had some level of etching. We still have 8 more fogged windows. Newell tells us they can't get new windows anymore. Last year we talked with Wise RV Glass in Georgia we may go back to him but he may have trouble getting the windows as well.
