Rick if you have a device that draws 1200 watts @ 120vac then the current is 10 amps (current X voltage = watts) if you have that same device with 110v then your current would be 10.9 amps. Like Russ said set voltage @ 120 is best. Not higher than 120vac or you'll get the magic smoke. Smile
