Here is what I know and do.
I found this forum right after I saw #590 2001 for sale. It was the first time I had seen a Newell. I read the threads about what to look for in purchasing a used Newell, watched the youtubes on the air systems, and read the threads I was familiar with issues on other RVs I had.
I also checked daily for the new threads and read them.
My concerns and MO for vehicles is to know as much as I can to fix it on the side of the road if possible, know if I need to get it looked at by a professional, and to not get taken for a ride on the price.
Locally there is a mechanic who spends the first quarter of each year working on race driver's coaches here in Daytona Beach, FL. He stated he knows Newell systems very well. He just didn't know how mine was configured and would have me walk with him during trouble shooting. He was spot on and didn't have to charge me to learn how to work on Newells. He set my mind at ease with this exchange and he fixed my problems more than learning about the systems.
Your coach is a bit newer than mine but there will be enough similarities in logic to help.
