Besides the dudes at Obsessed Garage who, btw, are OBSESSED beyond belief! I think they said they've tested over 1200 pressure washers over the years...YIKES!
That said, they are the "go to" for me when I want a deep dive into the PW game.
For budget, they suggest the Active as well as even the Karcher...in terms of electrics.
At $350, the Active (sorry for your crapper, Simon), is a hard to beat price if you don't mind a "throw-away instead of repair" concept.

Same holds true with anything under the $400 mark.
Simon took a leg-up, though, because the Kranzle IS considered the "euro Ferrari" if you desire to drop the $1200.
I went with the Active for 2 big...uh, small...reasons: size and price. For testing and recommending to my millions...ok ok thousands...of followers, I thought it was an easy pill to swallow. I also wanted something that would fit right into my standard flip-top storage box that is THE PERFECT way for me to tuck my washing gear into my bay. When I get home, I just take the Active out and leave all the rest behind since I have duplicate hoses, wands, and cannons.
With my system of quick-connects, I can hook everything up, running it through my 3-stage, Softener, and DI Tank within a minute.
If I was to install it at home, I'd pop for the Kranzle for sure! (Simon, better keep your's hidden!
