I was going to start another thread but figured it might be best to continue this conversation here.
Just saw a post on the Newell facebook group that another Newell caught fire. Appears to be very similar fire to Andrew's as it looks like it started in the front.
Do we know if they determined a cause for Andrew's fire?
I know I would really like to know if there is something that I should be taking a look at.
One thing I can say, is I did catch my generator intake tube between the turbo and the engine intake had a hole in it. This means that air is being forced out, fairly hot air. Not sure if this is enough to start a fire but it may feed one. I know that Andrew mentioned smelling smoke from the dash area, but I also know that there are two rather large wire chase holes up through the floor in the front that could allow smoke to come from below and get into the dash. So who knows if the smoke was coming from something under the dash or under the coach.
