I'm getting ready to install a solar panel system and need expert GURU advice.  The question is, where is the best place to penetrate the roof to run wires to the batteries? Thanks in advance to all GURU respondents!

I have the same question now, as I am thinking of installing some solar panels on top of my Newell 701. 
It seems to me laying wire from the top of the roof to the battery/engine bay might be the most challenging. 
If you already have your project done, please share some of your experiences. Thanks!
